A successful Strategic Alliance Specialist at Viventium Software enjoys our fast-paced & entrepreneurial environment. They have a knack for identify and hunting new strategic alliance relationships in the Broker (Health & Benefits & Financial) and CPA communities. Our centers of influence (COI’s) will need to foster both trust for our organization and an appreciation of our technology that is instilled and nurtured by our Strategic Alliance Specialist. This individual will be able to leverage a powerful, user-friendly and intuitive HCM software that services the mid-market to Brokers & CPA’s (COI’s) in efforts to drive new prospective client referrals to the sales organization. This Alliance Specialist is our “Brand Builder” by acting as a liaison between the COI community and the sales organization.
Optimize an assigned geographic territory by profiling & hunting strategic alliances with Brokers (Health & Benefits, Financial, General Insurance) & CPA’s
Leverage Viventium’s unique value proposition to gain interest from the COI community
Leverage Viventium’s technology and resources to develop referring relationships within COI community
Present high impact business cases/ROI’s, software demonstrations and presentations designed to highlight value to COI’s to articulate what prospective client referrals would gain by entering into a partnership
Balance time between establishing new referral-based relationships and maintaining established referring relationships (once gained) to ensure optimal lead flow to sales counter-parts
Networking via cold calling sessions, strategic drops, events, mutual clients, etc with the end goal to establish new referring relationships
Maintain and manage a funnel of referring relationship opportunities to attain/exceed assigned referral/channel revenue quota
Relationship manage and aide client service resolution (as appropriate) for COI client base
Track activities and opportunities in Hubspot (CRM) and accurately report information to management
Achieve/exceed assigned monthly channel new revenue goals
Establish and maintain revenue share agreements and preferred vendor relationships
Who we are Looking for:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher with a GPA at or above 3.0
5+ years of B2B consultative and strategic sales/relationship management
Payroll, HR, HCM or software/technology solutions experience STRONGLY preferred OR strong sales aptitude/orientation including practical experience
Strong networking skills
An entrepreneurial mindset
Hunter mentality that will identify and establish new referring relationships
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proven relationship building and client service skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ideally prior experience with Brokers & CPA’s
